Nada Dorris Poole, 89, a former resident of Oxford, GA passed away on April 19, 2011. She served as a communications officer in the US Navy from 1943 until 1946. She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel Eugene Poole, Sr. and Ella Mary Bogie Poole. Graveside services at the Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery, located Oxford, GA. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011 in the Chapel at Collington Episcopal Life Care Community, 10450 Lottsford Road, Mitchellville, MD 20721. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Nada's memory to the American Indian Education Fund.
