William G. BAILEY was born in Wisconsin and at the age of 22 came to Iowa. Here he was married to Miss Sarah LEAP of Waverly, Iowa. They reared their family of six children with which God had blessed their home. It as in the year of 1905 that the mother passed to her rest.
Mr. Bailey was stricken with paralysis last Friday about 9:00 p. m., and passed away at the home of Mr. And Mrs. George L. BURKHEAD Saturday evening at 10 o'clock.
Of his children four are living, Mrs. George L. BURKHEAD of Oakdale, Clarence BAILEY and William BAILEY of Fairpoint, SD., Prof. Roy E. BAILEY of Newman Grove, Ne. Stella BAILEY died April 2, 1915 and Lewis died October 11, 1918. He is also survived by two brothers and a sister, J. BAILEY of River Falls, Wis., George BAILEY of Presho, SD., and Mrs. C. N. STUFFLEBEAN of Waverly, Iowa.
