Volunteered for the Traveler's - Aide during WWII. Met her future husband Ed though the Catholic Youth Organization's "Club Dominicana" after the war . They married on June 28th 1948 . They first lived on North Brothers Island in NYC (now abandoned) . Later moved to Puritan Ave in the Bronx, Pleasantville NY and eventually settling on Long Island . .
She battled health issues in later years and was bedridden for the final 12yrs of her life .
