Archie A. Reingold , 92, of the 6800 block of Auburn Drive died Aug. 21, 1997, in his residence.
Mr. Reingold was a native of New York City and a resident of Norfolk since 1938. He was the widower of Kathryn Citron Reingold and the son of the late William N. and Rose Tierstein Reingold . He owned and operated the Cavalier Pen Company from 1938 until his retirement in 1964. He was a member of Temple Israel in Norfolk. Mr. Reingold was a 32nd degree Mason with Norfolk Masonic Lodge (NU)1.
Survivors include a daughter, Judith Perse of New York City; a son, William N. Reingold , M.D., of Norfolk; and four grandchildren, John Perse, Toby Lagarde, Rose Sherman and Beth Cioffi; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Michael Panitz and Cantor Yael Fischman. The family will receive friends at 7306 Apple Tree Lane, Norfolk, following services. Memorial donations may be made to the Beth Sholom Home of Eastern Virginia. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, will be handling the arrangements.
