Dennis Lee Douglas was born in Sidney, N.Y. on Aug. 24, 1946 to Donald E. Douglas and Clara Minnie (Sisson) Douglas.

He was a star basketball player in 1964 - 1965 at Sidney High School. Graduated from Broome Tech in 1967.

June 29,1968, he married his high school sweetheart, Kathy Charlotte Harris.

The newlyweds moved to Iowa City, Iowa, so Denny could continue his education to become a teacher. Only married 45 days, Denny dies of a burst appendix on August 12, 1968.

He is missed terribly by all who knew him.
