The former Mamie Freimuth was born in Sheboygan March 1, 1890, a daughter of the late Louis and Sarah Artman Freimuth. She attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School.
In 1931 (July 21, 1921) she married Carl Karbe. He died in 1957.
She was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, its St. Ann Christian Women’s Society and Guild, and the St. Luke and Evangelist Unit of the Good Samaritan Guild.
Survivors include two sons, Wilbert and Marvin, both of Sheboygan; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons and a sister.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Rev. Pat Heppe, associate pastor, will be celebrant of the Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
