Henry Austin was born at Roosevelt and came to Yakima, in 1961 from Benten City. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, the Kiona-Benton Grange, and was past master of the LaCrosse Grange 1009. He had been associated with the Union Pacific Railroad for 42 yrs, and a member of the Union Pacific Oldtimers Club 206. Suvivors include his wife Mrs. Rosemary Austin; a son, Arthur Austin of Yakima; four sisters, Mrs. Nora Hardwick, and Mrs. Evelyn Elliott of Boring, Oregon; a brother, James Austin of Kelso; and two grandchildren.
