Obituary:

James Ross Duling, 65, resident of Crawfordsville, formerly of Spencer, died Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at Williamsburg Health Care in Crawfordsville.

Born October 12, 1938 in Bloomington, he was the son of Russell N. and N. Louise (Fiscus) Duling.

His church affiliation was with Spencer Church of the Nazarene.

He had been a farmer in Owen County and owner of Duling Soil and Grain Services in Spencer from 1962-1979.

He was a retired Major from the Indiana National Guard in 1980.

Survivors include one daughter, LuAnn Bubline and husband Kevin of Sheffield Village, Ohio; one son, Kenneth J. Duling and wife Tracy of Spencer; one sister, Delores Vaughn and Jack of Spencer; and four granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services were conducted Monday, April 5, 2004 at the Spencer Church of the Nazarene, Rev. David Warren officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
