Mabel V. Prendergast of 309 College Avenue, Hollywood, Huntingdon, died at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 1975 in Altoona General Hospital after a brief illnesss. A native of Robertsdale, she was a daughter of John and Charlotte (Woods) Young. She was married to Benjamin F. Prendergast, Sr. at Cumberland, Md. in 1924. Mr. Prendergast passed away April 30, 1961. Surviving are three children, Benjamin F,. Jr., El Paso, Tex.; Richard D., Altoona and Mrs. P.H. (Gloria) Licastro, State College. There are eight grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Elizabeth) Flanigan, Huntingdon; Mrs. James (Charlotte) Doyle, Believernon and Raymond, Rockville, Md. Two brothers preceded in death. The deceased was a member of the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Huntingdon. She was a beautician and owned and operated the Hollywood Beauty Salon. Burial will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
