Actress. She will be best remembered for her role as 'Aunt Min' in director Sidney J. Furie's comedy film, "Sheila Levine Is Dead And Living In New York" (1975), and for her role as 'Betty Ray' in the long-running television soap opera, "Days Of Our Lives" in 1983. She made her actual film debut playing the role of a 'nurse' in another comedy film, "Busting" (1974), which also starred Elliott Gould and Robert Blake as two vice-squad cops who on are the tail of a local gangster. Born Karen Anderson in Massachusetts she was originally a stage actress in several Broadway plays before acting in films and on television. Considered a fine supporting actress one of her first appearances on stage included the play, "Almost Crazy" which ran on Broadway from June 20, 1955 to July 02, 1955. She also appeared at Radio City Music Hall in "A New York Summer" and "Manhattan Showboat". Besides, "Busting" (1974), and "Sheila Devine Is Dead And Living In New York" (1975), her other film credits include, "Bad Charleston Charlie" (1973), "She Lives" (1973), "Audrey Rose" (1977), "Promises In The Dark" (1979), "The Kid With The 200 I.Q." (1983), "The Malibu Bikini Shop" (1986), and "Fright Night Part 2" (1988). Besides, "Days Of Our Lives", her other television appearances include, Sgt. Bilko", "The Jack Paar Tonight Show", "Parade", "Mayberry R.F.D.", "The Rookies", "Medical Story", "Jigsaw John", "The Jeffersons", "Knots Landing", "Taxi', "The Phoenix", "Hart To Hart", and several Bob Hope television specials. Her last television role was playing 'Marge' in an episode of HBO's adult comedy, "Dream On" in 1994. She passed away from a heart attack in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 65.
