Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Wood Funeral Home in Sloan. The Rev. Ray Brooks and Edward Moberg will officiate. Burial will be in Sloan Cemetery.
Mr. Adams was born 20 November 1911, near Sloan. He married Elizabeth J. BLACKFORD 5 December 1943, at Sioux City, Iowa. He was a lifelong resident of Sloan. He was employed by the U.S. Corp. of Engineers as a river crewman for 22 years.
Survivors include the widow; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. William M. ADAMS of Whiting; 2 sons, Pat of North Kingston, R.I. & Monte of Sloan; 1 daughter, Mrs. Zane (Ginger) GULICK of Sloan; a foster daughter, Mrs. Judi CORCORAN of Glendale, Calif.; 1 brother, James TALMADGE of Sloan; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ella HUGHES of Froid, Mont. & Mrs. William (Thelma) IRISH of Sloan and 8 grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Wilbur Ray, James Gover, John Scott, Henry Bolen, Harry Routan, & Neil Funkhouser.
