Louisa was born in Lawrence county Ohio, where she lived until 1869.
Louisa moved with her husband Charles Smith Edwards to Missouri, where they lived one year and came to Leon, Butler County, Kansas in 1870.
The parents of Louisa Carolyn Rigg/Riggs are not known at this time.
Louisa was a member of the Baptist church; a faithful wife, a loving mother and a kind neighbor.
Louisa, wife of Charles Smith Edwards, departed this life, Saturday morning, April 12th, 1884.
Elder Churchill preached the funeral sermon at the Baptist church last Sunday, to a crowded house.
