George Clark McCrary, of 173 13th St., N. E, Atlanta, Georgia died November 22, 1974. Surviving are his wife, the former Anne Bowdoin; sister, Mrs. J. H. Robinson, Palmeto; nieces, Mrs. Paul Alford, Mrs. Harriet Williams, Mrs. Berry Trimble, nephew, Mr. Pelham Robinson. Funeral services will be held Monday,, November 25, 1974 at 10:30 o'clock at All Saints Episcopal Church. Rev. William E. Swift officiating. Interment at Cooperville Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia. As pallbearers: Mr. Howard Boone, Mr. Paul Alford, Mr. Bennie Trimble, Mr. Dan Lane, Mr. Marion Johnson, Mr. Carl Dixon, Mr. Jim Arledge, Mr. Ken Patterson.
George was the son of William Thomas McCrary and Cassie Wood McCrary. He was a very generous and admired indivdual. He was a newspaper photographer for several newspapers in the State of Georgia for many years.
