DOUROUX Aline Broussard Douroux passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late John Paul Douroux, Sr. Aline is survived by her four children, John Paul Douroux, Jr., Suzanne Pecot (Richard), Judith Amox (Ronald), Nancy Parmelee (Pete); granddaughters, Alison Cernich (Scott) and Danielle Layne (Joe); great-grandchildren, Samantha and Corinne Cernich and Madeline Layne; sister, Helen E. Broussard; as well as the Pecot step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles D. Broussard, Sr. and Emily Aucoin Broussard; three brothers, Charles D. Broussard, Jr., Harry Broussard and Howard Broussard, Sr. Her family and friends will dearly miss her quiet good nature, strong faith, and enjoyment of life's simple pleasures. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to her caregiver, Ms. Prince Sullivan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 26, 2011. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM until service time. Interment will be at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
