From her upbringing she was an accomplished seamstress, creating drapery, upholstery, and clothing the family. Cooking and canning were routinely excellent. Oil painting and craftwork flowed from her imagination.
Paula was an adult leader in Cub and Brownie Scouting, Parent Teacher Association Officer, one-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her education cut short during World War Two, she returned to adult school to earn her Diploma from Mount Diablo High School before her proud family. A professional bookkeeper, and finally, an active leader in her pulmonary therapy group until claimed by lung disease, age 74.
