Born Rosa Renandor Petsovits, according to familysearch.com which lists the exact location of the birth record at Cook County Chicago, Illinois - The father is listed as Stefan Petsovits and the mother Rosa Tummel -- (the following information is probably going to be revised to say that the mother may be Rosalia Trimmel) It is reported that her mother may have died during her birth or shortly thereafter. Her mother was born in Hungary and came to the US with her parents. If the spelling of the Tummel name was changed or incorrectly transcribed it is possible that Rosie's grandparents are also buried at St Francis see Memorial #s 46486474 And 46486359. A Trimmel uncle is also buried at St Francis. Additionally, Anna Josephine Trimel Duncan appears to be the sister of Rosies mother Rozalia Trimmel see mem #101904413. According to information on ancestry.com her father died within three years and someone else raised the child Rosa (aka Rosie) . Rosie married into the Billingsley family - but was as much a sister as the natural born girls. She belonged completely to the Billingsley family and they belonged to her. Rosie became very good friends with all the Billingsley sisters. She was best friends with Mickey Aiton Scott and Virginia Billingsley. A bond that lasted their lifetime. Rosie hiked, swam, danced, picniced, and worked with nearly every one of the family members. Rosie had many dear friends at First Federal Savings & Loan where she worked her way up the career ladder. She was able to retire from 1st Fed. She was loved by all who knew her as a fun loving, hardworking, loyal and devoted friend. She did not have natural children, but she was the best Aunt to all her nieces & nephews, and grandnephews! Rosie married Howard Billingsley - so even though this memorial shows her as spouse to Howard - she was just as much daughter to Agnes & Joe and sister to all their kids. This memorial would not be correct to show her any place outside the natural family! Howard and Rosie had no natural born children, they did not adopt any children, they did not raise any children. There is a mistake on ancestry.com showing Paula Billingsley as their daughter. Paula Louise Billingsley is the natural born daughter of Paul Lee Billingsley(Howard's brother) and Frances Mikulski Billingsley. Paula was killed when she was hit by a truck.

check this out ---Rosie's birth record at Family History center on film 1,287,762? That appears to be a document created at her birth that would tell her parent's names.
The Family History Library also has an index to the Cook County Guardianship Records on film 1027418 Item 5. If she was orphaned and there's a guardianship record, that would very likely answer some questions.)
