Medical Student, Ambulance Driver & A-1 Statistical clerk, earning a Medal for European War Service #32547 in action at Henry Ridge, France Aug 1916-1917, Pachandale, France Jan 1918-Mar 1918 and San Sautiere Hill 107 Oct 1917-Jan 1918 noted from London Gazette/July 25, 1918.Served in US Army receiving compensation checks in 1925 at Fitzsimons General Hospital, Colorado Ward B6 having acquired Tuberculosis #C-1,249,339, apparently moving to Tucumcari, New Mexico around 1926 as US Veterans Bureau sent form letter on Mar 3, 1916 to that address for verification to continue receiving his pension of $80.00 per month for service in World War 1. Robert Stanley Gordon died Mar 17, 1926 and was buried by Dunns Funeral Home, Tucumcari, New Mexico. The name on the headstone, in error, reads Roy S.
