Col. Clyde R. Smith, Ret. U.S. Army, San Antonio, Texas, born in Boise, Idaho, passed away Saturday, September 12, 1964 in a local hospital at the age of 68 years. Funeral services will be held at the Fort Sam Houston Post Chapel, with Father James Joseph and Father George Taylor, officiating. Interment will be in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Mary Smith; sons, Major David C. Smith and Mr. Clyde C. Smith, and (?) grandchildren. Col. Smith was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, and had been a resident of San Antonio for the past 12 years. Arrangements by Alamo Funeral Home.
