Dallas Morning News. June 25, 1901. San Antonio, Tex., June 22. -- Mrs. Marion [sic] Eads, wife of Assistant General Freight Agent Homer Eads of the International and Great Northern Railroad, died at Boerne this morning after a lingering illness. Her death, however, was not expected by Mr. Eads at this time and he was not with her when it occurred.

The 1909 obituary for her daughter, Josephine, indicates that Josephine was to be laid to rest in this cemetery beside the grave of her mother . . .
