PHILLIPS, MYRA PORTER, 81, of Largo, died Saturday (Dec. 23, 1995) at Sun Coast Hospital, Largo. She came here several years ago from her native Tampa. She worked as a court reporter. She wrote two children's books, Bubble Eyes the Friendly Crab and Sniffer & Peanuts. She was a member of Hyde Park United Methodist Church, University Club, Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and Pi Gamma Mu. Survivors include two sisters, Mary P. Lesh, Largo, and Lois Albertson, Garrison, N.Y.; a nephew; and eight nieces. Garden of Memories Funeral Home, Tampa.
