Chief Warrant Officer Bradley J. Gaudet, 31, of Gladewater, Texas died June 5, in Khost province, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered as the result of a helicopter crash. They were assigned to the1st Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y. He is survived by his wife, Ginny (VanMarter) Gaudet of Liverpool, two daughters, Tealie and Addyson who was born in May while Brad was fortunate to be home and help deliver, his mother and step-father, Rhonda and Scott Owens of Gladewater, TX, his father, Ronnie Gaudet of Gulfport, MS., sister, Trish (Cody) Todd of Big Sandy, TX, brother, Daniel Gaudet of Scottsdale,AZ, his grandparents, Shirley and Billy Stephens of Lufkin, TX, mother and father-in-law, Judy and Ed VanMarter of Liverpool, sister-in-law, Ashley VanMarter of Albany, NY, and grandmother-in-law, Bernice Marr of Liverpool. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.
