SVEN EMANUEL OLSON
Sven Emanuel Olson, a resident of the United States since 1880, passed away at his home in Hillsboro February 15. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Macy and Son Funeral Home Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Clifford Trout officiated at the service and burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include the widow, Franka, two sons, Zenas A., of Milwaukie, Onas S. of Salem; two daughters, Mrs. Pernilla Ditter of Hillsboro, Mrs. Laveda Duncan of Tillamook; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Sven Olson was born in Sweden June 10, 1853 and moved to the United States in 1880, making his residence in Yamhill and Washington county. He had been a retired farmer and an active member in the Hillsboro Christian church.
