LEWISTOWN — LEWISTOWN - Robert L. Irwin, 66, of 14585 North Milton Road, passed away at 9:15 a.m. on Monday (June 6, 2011) at his home.
He was born July 15, 1944, at Macomb, the son of Clyde and Esther (Shaffer) Irwin. He married Vicki Pascal on October 11, 2033 in Memphis, Tenn. She survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Tim (Ellen) Irwin of Lakeland, Fla., Brian (Monica) Irwin of Bloomington, Mike Irwin of Jefferson City, Mo., and Joe (Laura) Wilcox of Rincon, Ga.; three daughters, Janeile (Jerry) Bainter of Lewistown, Jennifer (Thurman) Fitch of Lewistown, and Brooke (Joe) Palmer of Lewistown; 15 grandchildren; one brother, Dennis (Shirley) Irwin of Lewistown; one sister, Dixie Mitchell of Cuba; and his dogs, Jaylo, Rayzor, Shy, and Lori.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law, Vernon Mitchell; and his dogs, Evo and Damien.
Bob worked 35 years for IDOT in Peoria before retiring. He was a sponsor at the local Humane Society.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Randy Munson officiating.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the memorial home.
Burial will be in Waterford Cemetery at rural Lewistown.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society or Graham Hospice Association.
