DAWSON, Catherine McLean, 90, a resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. from Prattville Church of Christ, with Minister Brent Missildine and Minister Raymond Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, AL, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing.
Mrs. Dawson was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who devoted her life to the loving care of her family. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by two spouses, Grady McLean, Sr. and Retice Dawson.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, H.G. and Gail McLean; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Harvey Clark; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Meredith; several extended family members and many friends.
