W. Ronald Hearn of Cold Springs Road, Oneida Township, Huntingdon R.D. 2 died Wednesday, July 26, 1967 at 5:00 p.m. in J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. He had entered the hospital Tuesday evening. Born November 4, 1904 in Center Union, Oneida Township, he was a son of A.B. and Blanche (Black) Hearn. He married Alice Gutshall on June 12, 1937 in Stone Church of the Brethren parsonage, Huntingdon with the Rev. Foster B. Statler officiating. Surviving are his wife and these brothers and sisters: John K. Hearn, Huntingdon; Mrs. Harvey (Clara) Bratton, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Chris (Ruth) Sylvester, Pittsburgh; Lester M. Hearn, Tyrone; Mrs. James (Nettie) Hawn, Petersburg R.D.; Walter H. Hearn, Huntingdon R.D. 1; Mrs. Austin (Beatrice) Craig, Huntingdon, A brother, Cloyd preceded him in death. He was of the Protestant faith and a carpenter by trade, having been employed by H.T. Reynolds and Sons, Contractors retiring in 1966 after 32 years of service. His entire life was spent in Oneida Township. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 29, at 2 p.m. in Brown Funeral home, Huntingdon. The Rev. Earl C. Kaylor Jr. will officiate and interment will be made in Huntingdon Memorial Gardens, Huntingdon R.D.1. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday until the hour for the services on Saturday.
