The remains of Fred Emerson Kimball of South Brewer, former alderman, whose death occurred in Bangor hospital Saturday, have been taken to Macwahoc, his former home, where the funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today.

The death of Fred Emerson Kimball of South Brewer occurred at 1.55 o'clock, January 11, at Bangor E. M. G. Hospital, his mother being with him at the last. his death was due to Malignant Erysipelas, from the effects of a broken arm. he had been a resident of South Brewer for the past seven years, during which time he served three consecutive years as alderman from ward five. He leaves besides a widow, a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Kimball of Macwahoc; four sisters, Mrs. J. E. Connor of North Yarmouth, Mrs. B. H. Bradbury of Gardiner, Mrs. D. E. Hayes of Rumford, and Mrs. A. E. Hodsdon of North Yarmouth. The Kingman Lodge of Independent Order of Odd Fellows, of which deceased was a charter member, conducted the funeral services, at the home of his parents at Macwahoc, Tuesday at two p. m.
