Barbara Ann Burdette, 68, Jamestown, died Thursday, March 9, 2000 at her residence.

She was born in Dayton,Ohio on January 5, 1932 to the late Russell H.Reese and Hattie (Bertram) Reese.

She was a music teacher and business woman. She was a member of the Jamestown First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Hattie Reese, her husband, William J."Billy" Burdette, and one son, John Burdette all of Jamestown.

Funeral services were held at Jamestown First Baptist Church on Saturday March 11, 2000 with Dr. Daryl Covington
officiating.

Burial was in the Jamestown Cemetery.

Special music was provided by the Jamestown First Baptist
Church Choir and organist Cheryl McClure.

Honorary pallbearers were employees of Burdette Motor Co.
and Winsome Sunday School.

Active pallbearers were Ed Botner, Attis Flanagan, Rob Lamb, Eldridge Richards, H.K. Cooper, Don Cooper, Victor Cooper, Olaf Cooper and Kenny Hammond.

H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
