Anton Agurs passed away unexpectedly, June 7, 2011. His death has been ruled a homicide and an investigation is ongoing.
He was self employed with Sanctified Towing.
He is survived by his wife Alethea Agurs, and two children.

Family received friends on Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Zion Baptist Church of Eastland Gardens, 1234 Kenilworth Avenue NE, Washington, DC. Interment held at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
