Allen L. Skinner of Roy passed away on June 1, 2011 at home. He was born March 29, 1940 to Lester and Lois Skinner. He married Pat Wilvert on June 7, 1969. Allen managed Bowling Lanes and was active in Junior Bowling. He was also a Regional representative for the AJBC. He was very active in Little League Softball for many years. Allen also volunteered as a security guard at the Little League World Series. He moved to Utah in 1994 and worked for the LDS Church, and held many callings for the church. He loved to work on Genealogy, and help others to find their past loved ones. He volunteered at the Ogden Family History Center for fifteen years, Allen is survived by his wife of forty-two years Pat Wilvert Skinner, three children; Rose McCloskey of Roy, Leslie (Dan) Files of Battle Creek, MI., Jeremy (Mary) Skinner of Ogden, his sister Rebecca Porco of Williamsport, PA., one granddaughter Kayla McCloskey currently serving in the US Army, one niece Vannessa Galante and one nephew Ronald Porco, and many great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Vista care Hospice and Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake, for all the care they gave us. Funeral services will be held at the Roy 3rd Ward LDS Church, on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 11:00 am. - 5930 So. 2200 West Roy, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Roy City Cemetery.
