Norman served his country in the United States Navy, Seaman First Class from December 1941 to 1949.
He was preceded in death by his son,Darrell Browning;daughter,Hazel Darleen Carter; parents.
Survivors include his children, Margaret Olivia (Pete); Cupid and husband,Bud; Louise Dean ,(Doug); Mary Janice Bursell; Allen Troy Browning; David Roy Browning; many grandchildren, many great - grandchildren; ex - wife, Betty Morrison.
A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday,June 11,2011 at Emanuel Baptist Church at 509 Stratton Ridge in Clute, Texas.
