"Mr. Fletcher"
"Russell Glen Fletcher, 41, of Lampasas died Aug. 1, 2003, in Lampasas County.
Funeral services are Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. at Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home with the Rev. James Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
He was born Oct. 9, 1961, in Odessa, to William Lawrence Fletcher and Nancy Jane Ashley.
Mr. Fletcher worked for Harrison Well Service in Lampasas in the service department. He served a short time in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
He was a member of the non-denominational Pentecostal faith, having been a member of Cornerstone Worship Center in McKinney.
Mr. Fletcher had lived in Lampasas for seven years, coming from Princeton.
He is survived by a son and his wife, Micheal Glen and Theresa Fletcher, of Arkansas; five daughters, Misty Ann Fletcher, Jessica LeeAnn Fletcher and Christina Nichole Fletcher, all of Princeton, and Kelli Jo Fletcher and Chancey DeLane Fletcher, both of Lampasas; his father of Lampasas; his mother, of Andrews; one brother and his wife, Larry and Sylvia Fletcher, of Lampasas; three sisters and their husbands, Becky and Arnold Terry, of Big Springs, Ann and Rudy Llorente, of Boyton Beach, Fla., and Kim and Richard Whitt, of Dripping Springs; three grandchildren, Tasha Lynn Fletcher and Cody Lee Stewart, both of Princeton, and Shahala Denise Fletcher, of Lampasas; his stepmother, Billie Greer, of Lampasas; and his stepfather, Darrell (Tinker) Ashley, of Andrews.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Red Cross.
