Robert, 72, of Mecosta, MI formerly of Lansing, MI. beloved son, husband, father and grandfather passed away Wednesday.
Mr. Davis was a graduate of East Lansing High School. He was a retired supervisor from the Board of Water and Light. Past President of the Schoolsection Lake Association and was active in Jr. Achievement. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved his Brittany dogs.
Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his father; Robert W. Davis and brother; Douglas L. Davis.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Mary Beth Davis, 3 daughters; Lesley Machala (Greg), Shelley DeLaCruz and Amy Guile (Troy), 1 son; Scott A. Davis (Joanne), grandchildren; Sara and David DeLaCruz, Robert and Amanda Keiffer, Courtney Makley, Codie Guile, Megan Borstler, 6 great grandchildren; mother; Corinne Davis, brother; Ron Davis (Linda), sister; Judy Merchant.
Services were held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, Lansing.
