Ashfield. Mrs. Harrison Schleicher, died last Thursday in Philadelphia from the effects of an operation performed upon her. She had been ailing for sometime and about three weeks ago the doctor told her she had a tumor the removal of which was necessary in order to save her life. With great reluctance she finally submitted to an operation with the above result. She was a daughter of the late Reuben Dinkey and a half sister of Mrs. Charles Schwab, the wife of the great steel manufacturer. She is survived by her husband and three sons one of whom is a practicing physician at Palmerton. The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at Pennsville Church and was very largely attended
