AMY E. RINKER
1892--1982
Amy E. Rinker, 92, formerly a resident at 510 E. Broadway, died at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Monte Casino Nursing Home, Toluca. She had been in ill health for the past several months.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Winterrowd Funeral Home, with burial in Grand Rapids Cemetery, Grand Ridge.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Rinker was born in Heenanville, June 22, 1892, to Miller and Elizabeth (Worthington) Courtney. She married Ralph Rinker, Sept. 16, 1933 in Streator. He died in 1961.
Mrs. Rinker resided all of her life in Streator and the Grand Ridge area. She owned and operated Jewell Beauty Shoppe for several years. She was a member of the Grand Ridge United Methodist Church.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The last of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, and five brothers.

Services for Amy Rinker, 90, formerly of 510 E. Broadway St., were held at 11 a.m. Friday from the Winterrowd Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Garabrant of the Grand Ridge United Methodist Church, conducted the services and also held graveside rites at Grand Rapids Cemetery.
Mrs. Richard Daniels was organist.
Serving as pallbearers were Ronald Cesario, Lawrence Peacock, Larry Peacock, Jr., Timothy Peacock, Arthur Courtney and Elwood Courtney, Sr.
