W. F. TAYLOR IS TAKEN BY DEATH

W. F. (Bill) Taylor, 68, widely known Ellensburg logger died suddenly yesterday from a heart attack.
A resident of the Kittitas Valley 58 years, he worked in the logging industry for many years. He was em- ployed by A. J. McCracken when he retired in 1937.

He was born October 12, 1875, in Eden Valley, Minn. He came here with his pioneer parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Taylor, Sr. in 1886. He was married here in 1902 to Bertha Hanson, likewise the daughter of valley pioneers, who survives him. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters,
Mrs. Eva Cooper and Mrs. Violet Hayes, both of Ellensburg; two sons Floyd Taylor of Ellensburg,
and Sgt. Robert Taylor, serving in the U. S. Army air force in England; two brothers, Levi Taylor of Renton and George Taylor of Ellensburg, and two sisters, Mrs. John Hanson of Sumner and Mrs. Ethel Andrews of Tacoma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Honeycutt chapel, with Rev. T. N. Pyle officiating. Burial will be in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.

I believe the birth year is wrong. He isn't in the 1880 Census. All future Census have him being born about 1880.
