Lester R. Mellott, of Robertsdale, died June 6,1993, at his home. Born May 7, 1927, in Finleyville, Bedford Guinty, he was a son of the late Melvin and Bertha (Mellott) Mellott. He was married to the former Dire M. Scellini on July 3, 1968, in Annapolis, Md. Surviving are his wife, at their home; a daughter, Mrs. Marty (Janice) Blair, of Irvinton, N.Y. and a grandson. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. A veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Mellott retired in 1977 from Whiting & Turner Construction Co.. Baltimore. Md. Interment will be in Ave Maria Cemetery, Dudley.
