Mrs. Missouri C. Slaton, 76, wife of A. M. Slaton, died at the family home, 1206 South Stewart about 9 o'clock this morning.
Mrs. Slaton was born August 5, 1853, at St. Charles, St. Louis County, Missouri. January 31, 1878, she was married to Mr. Slaton at Enon, Monteau County.
Surviving are the husband and five of six children, J. L. Slaton, 1606 South Stewart Avenue, Mrs. Hattie Jennings of Arboles, Colo., Mrs. Clara Hickcox of Russellville, Mo., Mrs. Maggie Embreu of Beaman, and Harry L. Slaton of the family address.
Funeral services will be held at the family home at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with the Reverend R. L. Davidson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
