A proud Rochesterian and a longtime Brightonian, she was predeceased by her husband, James.
A graduate of Nazareth Academy, Class of 1936, she attended Nazareth College. Her acts of charity benefited many. She was a long-standing supporter of the Catholic Medical Mission Board and a tireless volunteer for almost 40 years for the Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross; in 1994 she was awarded a Special Citation for Exceptional Volunteer Service. She loved reading, a good bridge game, following professional tennis and baseball, and enjoyed music to her final days. The world will be less sweet without her strawberry jam.
A lilac, her favorite flower, is on her grave marker.
