LAWN--Alfonzo Brewer "Bill" Johnson, 84,lifelong area resident, died Wednesday in an Abilene Hospital.
Grave services will be a 2 p.m. Friday in Dewey Cemetery with the Rev. R. J. Elkins officiating, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home of Tuscola.
Mr. Johnson was born in Lawn, where he attended school and served with the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Ruth Elizabeth Johnson of Lawn; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Memorials may be sent to Dewey Cemetery Fund, c/o First State Bank, acct. 136441-01, Box 98, Tuscola, 79562
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today in the funeral home.
