Mrs. Baull was born the daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah Spence Isdell.
She was a charter member of First Colonial Baptist Church of Virginia Beach, Virginia and taught the four year old Sunday School class for many years. Everyone who knew her affectionately called her Nana.
Mrs. Baull was preceded in death by her husband James Baull, daughter Janice Withrow, step daughter Martha Parry, step son George Baull, great grandson Chris Martin, brothers Samuel Isdell Jr., Cecil Isdell, and Roy Isdell, sisters Susie Fluhart, and Hattie Kellam.
On Aug. 17, 2009, Nana's great great granddaughter Taylor Ann Cote McQueeney passed away at the age of 9 in an apartment fire in Lewiston, Maine.
Survivors include three daughters Gay McQueeney and husband Bob of Cherryville, North Carolina, Frances Withrow and husband Wayne of Spring Hill, Florida, Sharon Martin and husband Charles of Oak Island, North Carolina; step daughters Anne Baull of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Betty Hornbeak of Parker, Arizona; step son William Baull of Homestead, Florida; sisters Frances Thackeray of Quimby, Virginia, Ruth Horton and husband HB of InWood, West Virginia; eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Princess Anne Memorial Gardens in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
