Mohawk -Mrs Pearl Knowland, 57, wife of Friend Knowland, New
Woodstock, Madison County, and sister of Mrs. R. L. Patrick and
Mrs. George Chrisman, of this village died yesterday in her home in
New Woodstock
She was born July 2, 1892, in ElIba, a daughter of Charles and
Hattie Stroke Zirbel. She received her education in East Penbrook
I schools. Her marriage to Mr. I Knowland took place on Dec. 7,
1931 in Ilion.
Besides her husband and the two [sisters mentioned, she leaves twolother sisters. Mrs. Glen Damon of Ilion, and Mrs. L. O. Jones, Los Angeles, Cal.; two brothers, Avery
|Zirbel, Texas, and Harvey Zirbel of Jamesville and also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday from the Methodist Church at New Woodstock. Burial will be in North Otselic Cemetery.
