husband of Alma Francis Randolph PaynFuneral services for Chester Payne, 86, of 505 East Adams St., were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 10 at the Markwell Funeral Home. Brother James Rue officiated.

Mr. Payne passed away at his home about 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8.

He was a retired farmer, who had served as secretary and treasurer of the Casey Cemetery for several years.

Those surviving are, his wife, Maureen; one stepson, Richard Myer of Findley, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Imo) Parker of Robinson and Mrs. Ray (Ada) Purcell of Allegan, Mich.; one brother, Lester of Oblong; seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Mr. Payne was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Adkisson and Mrs. Anna Wiman; one brother, Eddie and his first wife, Alma.

Burial was in the Casey Washington Street Cemetery.
