Services for Jimmy R. Ables, 32, of San Antonio, Texas and formerly of Vidalia will be held Thursday, April 19, 2001 at Young's Funeral Home in Vidalia under the direction of Young's.

Dr. Ralph Webber will officiate.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Natchez under direction of Young's.

Ables died Friday, April 13, 2001 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born June 17, 1968 in Monroe. He was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and was in the 340th Flying Training Group. He was also a 1986 graduate of Vidalia High School.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly Ables, San Antonio, Texas; father, Jay Free, Vidalia, motherDoris Free, Vidalia; daughter, Kalyla Quinly, San Antonio, Texas; brother, Charles Ables, Vidalia; three sisters, Kristy Adams, Rockwell, N.C.; Susan Ashley, Baskin, La. and Jena Mathews, Natchez.

Pallbearers will be the United States Air Force Honor Guard.

Honorary pallbearers will be George Ables, Scott Adams, Mike Freeman, John Miller, Curtis Nelson, C. J. Swillie, Gary Waller and Rob Swift.
