After a long and painful illness, Mr. Ben Collins departed life on Monday morning. He was a good citizen, a kind neighbor and an affectionate father. His funeral was preached at the Bairdstown church by Rev. Telford. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to his stricken daughters, Misses Pearl and Lula Collins, Mrs. Stocks Bryant and Mrs. Tom Stephens and his sons, Messrs. Tom and Pope Collins.
