Enriquita "Aida" "Yaya" Burchfield passed away on June 11, 2011 in Houston, Texas at the age of 64. She was born on September 3, 1946 in Uacon Canderlaria Zambales, Philippines to Vincinte Quemerista and Carmen Castenada. Aida is survived by her loving companion of 20 years, Michael Husband; son, John Burchfield and wife Cristina; daughters, Carmen Burchfield, Cathrine Aguirre and husband Jesse; grandchildren, Corey Harrison, Rachel Harrison, Kristina Thompson, Janessa Duque, John "JJ" Burchfield, Jacklyn Burchfield, Jocelyn Cumby, and Jaizel Aguirre; sisters Catilina Agayam, and Aurora Robinson. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 18 years, Jerry Burchfield; brothers, Armondo Quemerista, and Antonio Quemerista.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Grand View Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
