Mrs. Julia Edith Eagleton, 55, 811 East Grand Ave, a resident of Decatur, Illinois, for about three years, died in Decatur & Macon County Hospital, Decatur, Illinois, at 10:10am yesterday.

Mrs. Eagleton had lived most of her life in Fayette County before moving to Decatur. lllinois. She was born in Beecher City, Illinois, July 19, 1891, a daughter of George and Adre Watson. She married to Fred Eagleton in Beecher City in 1908. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.

She leaves her husband, Fred Eagelton; nine children, Mrs. Opal Lawrence, Hawsville, Kentucky; Mrs. Adda Dunker, Decatur, Illinois; Mrs. Violet Pearce, Massachusetts, Mrs. Ruth Fritts, Decatur, Illinois; Mrs. May Morey, Decatur, Illinois; Mrs. Gladys Mize, Beecher City,Illinois; Mrs. Lois Traughber, Decatur, Illinois; Paul Eagleton, Decatur, Illinois; and Glen Eagleton, Decatur, Illinois; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Norman, Decatur, Illinois; Mrs. Alma Childress, Mortonville, Kentucky; Mrs. Bertha Force, Champaign, Illinois; and Mrs. Myrtle Cartwright, Long Beach, California; one brother, James W. Watson, Peoria, Illinois; and 15 grandchildren.

One sister and three brothers preceded her in death.

The body was taken to the Monson funeral home, where friends may call after noon today. Funeral services will be held in the Church of the Brethren, Grand avenue and Warren street, Decatur, Illinois, at 9:30am Tuesday. Services will be held again at the Kaskaskia Church of the Brethren near Beecher City, Illinois, with burial in the Kaskaskia cemetery.
