Dr. William Kelly Simpson, that boy, thought so much of his stepmother that he named his only daughter, born in 1887, Sarah Hull Simpson. The daughter was flower girl when my grandparents Frank Farrand and Helena Willett Alger married Oct. 14, 1896 at Christ Episcopal Church at Hudson, New York. Sarah, the wife of George Simpson, died at the age of 81 years of cancer in Manhattan, New York and her body was sent to Hudson, New York for burial.
