Annie Laurie Abell, age 87, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at her Residence. She was born on November 2, 1923 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Mrs. Abell was a retired employee of Markers Mark Distillery, having worked as a Secretary with the company for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by: Husband- Harold Abell; Son- Jim Abell; 4 Brothers- Jim, Butch, Mike, and Joe Bert Bennett. Survivors include: Daughter- Betsy Omlor- Chandler, AZ.; Sons- Gene Abell- Lexington, KY.; Hugh Abell- Nicholasville, KY.; James Abell- Wake Forest, N.C.; Sister- Carrie Ellen Walker- Sebring, FL.; 5 Grandchildren-James Abell, Julie Thompson, Rachel Abell, Marisa Abell, and Kyle Abell. Also surviving are 8 Great-Grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Church Cemetery. Visitations will be held after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at Bosley Funeral home, 246 S. Proctor Knott Ave. – Lebanon, KY. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
