TRINITY -- Services for Lottie Elizabeth Dunaway Tipton, 93, were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, in the Carlisle Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Parrish officiating. Burial followed in Carlisle Cemetery. Mrs. Tipton died Monday, Sept.,19.2005 She was born Nov. 28, 1911, in the Chita Community of Trinity County had had resided during her life in Trinity County, Houston, Austin and Grand Prairie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Tipton; and a grandson, James McGee. Survivors include a son, John Matchett of Grand Prairie; two daughters and a son-in-law, Helen McGee of Houston and Dianne and Glenn Walker of Austin; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Waller-Thornton Funeral Home of Trinity directed the arrangements.
