Jacksonville - Funeral services for James Andrews Clakley, 84, of Jacksonville, are set for 10 a.m. Monday in the Thompson-Elliott Funeral Chapel in Jacksonville with Elder Wilbur Taller and Bishop Milburn Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery near Frankston.
Mr. Clakley died Saturday in a Jacksonville hospital after a long illness.
A native of Alabama, Mr. Clakley was a retired farmer. He was a Mormon.
Survivors include four sons, Dave Clakley, Orville Clakley, Curtis Clakley and Lukie Clakley, all of Jacksonville; two daughters, Mrs. Ree Ellis and Mrs. Lucille Mickey, both of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Robinson of Frankston; 24 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
